Wind Turbines
Wind Generators
This machine only recommended for areas with high wind speed such as coastal areas and high altitudes and therefore may not perform optimally in other areas.
How it Works
A wind generator is a device that generates electricity from the kinetic energy of wind. Wind is a form of solar energy caused by the uneven heating of the atmosphere by the sun. Based on convection, lighter hot air ascends while heavier cold air descends. This movement causes windflow. Wind flow patterns are accelerated by the earth’s terrain, bodies of water, and vegetation. Humans use this wind flow, or motion energy, for many purposes: sailing, flying a kite, and even generating electricity.
